Alumni of Scholars for Service, Excellence and Transformation (ASSET)

The Metrobank Foundation organized in December 2000, the Alumni Scholars for Service, Excellence and Transformation (ASSET) Incorporated.  ASSET is a non-profit organization which was established in December 2000 and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in February 2009.  Its mission is to uphold social awareness among its members as they thrive for excellence in their respective academic and professional fields of endeavor.  To realize its goal, the organization seeks not only to create opportunities for the members to interact and share ideas among themselves but also to encourage them to become actively involved in the task of nation-building by initiating socially-relevant activities, community-based projects and outreach programs.  Currently, the network includes 824 members from Metrobank Foundation’s various scholarship programs such as the Assistance for the Completion of College Education for Superior Students (ACCESS), Excellence in Teaching Program (ETP), Grants in Aid of College Education (GRACE), MBFI-Boysen and Fluor-MBFI managed scholarship programs.

ASSET continuously conducts tutorial programs, fund generation, and scholarship grants (Iskolar ng Iskolars), and provision of school supplies to children of identified communities. Activities were done through their chapters in coordination with schools and the local government units.
